BLACKBELLY WEDDINGS

Let us assist in making your dream event a reality! As an experienced full-service caterer, the Blackbelly catering team will provide you with the tools to make your event a success and exceed your expectations.  Our experienced team will walk you through the entire process, starting with choosing the right venue, to customizing your menu, and everything in between.

We strive for perfection in everything we do, from the hand picked organic ingredients to our unparalleled service.  Our core business is founded on bringing the private chef experience to you.  We pride ourselves on exceptional private dinners, celebrity chef experiences, corporate events, weddings, cocktail parties and more.

MENU & FOOD COSTS

Our menus are customized to reflect the tastes and styles of our clients. Every dish we serve is handmade in our kitchen, allowing us to accommodate a wide range of special requests, dietary restrictions and allergy needs.

Pricing for the food portion of our services depends on ingredients and complexity, but prices for a fully catered dinner generally range from $60- $120+  per person.

STAFF

Staffing costs start with the number of guests, service preference (family style, plated, stationed or progressive cocktail hour) & location.  Staff time on an event includes set-up, breakdown and everything in between. Transportation costs are location, and event specific.  All event management and coordination is led by our Events Director Chelsea Carlton.  Our catering team will be on-site day of to make sure everything is perfectly executed.

BAR SET UP

Blackbelly offers full bartending and mixology services including all bartending, set up and mixology.

Bar services will be customized to your needs.  We will recommend quantities and coordinate with experienced vendors and sommeliers.  We can also build custom cocktails or offer you pairing suggestions for your menu.  Under Colorado state law, we cannot purchase the liquor for your event.

RENTAL COSTS

We happily facilitate the coordination of rentals for your event and work with your vendors to make sure rentals are delivered, set up and repacked for pick up after the event.  Rental costs are based on your preferred style of service, choice of venue and other event needs.

OUR STORY

Blackbelly came to life in 2011 when I opened Blackbelly Catering and soon thereafter, Blackbelly Farm.  The idea was to create food from the source to the plate.  No middlemen.  No shipping.  Embracing the food of the seasons and being a true locavore.

It’s the mission of Blackbelly to not only know where the food comes from, but to serve our customers the very best product we can find.  We began by raising our own livestock – pigs and lamb – to use in our kitchen. Next came the greenhouse where we grow our own supply of organic vegetables.  If we can’t produce it ourselves, we supplement with the best local products.  We’ve cultivated relationships with regional artisans and suppliers to secure the best products we can possibly find.

Ultimately, flavor is paramount.  It’s the most important factor in my kitchen.  Flavor first and everything else comes after that.  To produce the best tasting food, we start with the best ingredients.  Sounds simple, right?  It is.

Blackbelly Market is my home base – the center of our culinary universe: catering, the food truck and now, our restaurant.  We’ve built a kitchen that can handle all of it and serve some of Boulder’s – if not the state’s – best dining.

I have been conjuring up this scenario for years – a restaurant and market, with a whole animal butchery program and a kitchen “laboratory” where we can experiment, tinker, and dream. Blackbelly Market is the culmination of thousands of ideas, years of brainstorming, and a whole lot of cooking. I am so happy to finally open the doors and invite my community of friends and diners into this new place – it’s a place I am extremely proud of and I hope you enjoy this new endeavor as much as I do.

CANNABIS POLICY

Blackbelly does not use cannabis products in the preparation or service of any food. We do specialize in cannabis pairings and are more than happy to design a menu around your chosen strain or infused products. As always our staff is happy to assist you in any way to ensure your event will be a success.
